That was when we realised we wanted to do even more.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Coffee Gardens was founded in 2017 with the aim of producing specialty coffee in an ethical way and connecting farmers directly with consumers. The project focuses on improving farmers’ living conditions, creating jobs in rural areas, supporting gender equality, increasing transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain, and protecting the environment in the Mt Elgon region.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTogether with \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/fathers.cz\/spojujeme-se-s-coffee-gardens-jak-bude-vypadat-qc-lab-v-ugande\/\"\u003eThe Coffee Gardens\u003c\/a\u003e, we co-financed the opening of the QC Lab in Uganda - a quality laboratory that helps farmers evaluate their harvest directly on site, improve their processes and, as a result, achieve fairer prices.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEvery cup of Namugowa is therefore not only about taste, but also about the future.
