Potosí Farm is a cornerstone of Café Granja La Esperanza (CGLE), a Colombian coffee company renowned for its production. Located in the Valle del Cauca, the farm was acquired by the Herrera family in 1945. From its beginnings, Potosí was a place of experimentation, planting varieties that were uncommon in Colombia at the time, including Bourbon Yellow, Bourbon Red and Caturra. These pioneering efforts laid the foundation for CGLE’s innovative approach to coffee growing.
