"We visited Lubier Beltran’s farm with our importing partner Quest back in 2022. The farm was beautiful and it was clear that Lubier is passionate about specialty coffee production. So, we were very excited to find out that Lubier’s coffee was separated again this year and even more excited to find that his has made a marked improvement in cup quality! Lubier’s farm, Finca La Tijuana, is located in Palestina, Huila. It consists of five hectares of which 3 are planted with coffee. The other two hectares are kept as a natural reserve. Lubier has been around coffee production his whole life, learning from his parents and helping them with every task he could. In 2020, after getting married, he purchased La Tijuana for him and his wife to live on."
