This coffee comes directly from the “El Vapor” plot, perched at a dizzying altitude of 1,900 to 2,100 meters in the famous Tarrazú region of Costa Rica.
Grown with passion by producer Roger Ureña Hidalgo and prepared in his family micro-mill Santa Teresa 2000, this batch showcases the Catuai variety.
Bathed in the characteristic morning mist that gives the plot its name, the coffee cherries benefit from a very slow maturation due to the cold, which intensely concentrates their complex sugars.
As an espresso, this coffee reveals itself to be particularly indulgent and sweet, unveiling a harmonious profile of raisin, chocolate and praline.
