Guatemala Hermanos Constanza

Now in their third generation of farming, the Constanza family continues a tradition of quality with Lázaro's farm in Agua Dulce and Daniel's farm in El Paraíso in Huehuetenango. Though the farm is still under Daniel's name, he has since emigrated to the U.S. for work, so his wife, Mary Matia Villatoro, has been managing the farm with help from her father-in-law, Jesus. Our importing partner, Shared Source is the first importer to buy direct from the family and is now building a long-term relationship. The family has continued to invest in infrastructure to push coffee quality and consistency, last year installing shade covering over the fermentation beds and a screen on the depulper.
