Oscar Edgardo Tinoco’s “Pino de Oro” farm represents much more than quality: it also demonstrates a passion for coffee growing. Both are essential to achieve success such as first place in the Cup of Excellence. Located at an altitude of 1,640 m, Oscar’s coffee plantation flourishes in the protected area of ​​the Santa Bárbara Mountain Nature Reserve, an ideal location. Today, the second generation of the Tinoco family is in charge of its management, with Oscar having inherited his father’s love of coffee.

In addition to the quality of his coffee, Oscar is keen to share his success with his community. With this in mind, he began donating 10% of his profits to social projects in 2010, after winning third place in the Cup of Excellence. The following year, in 2011, he won first prize in Honduras, a feat he managed to repeat this year.

“Pino de Oro” thus symbolizes an exceptional coffee and a sincere social and ecological commitment.
