PANAMA - JANSON 512 (HONEY)

PANAMA - JANSON 512 (HONEY)

The Janson farm was established in 1941 by Carl Axel Janson, a Swedish immigrant.
It was Carl's sons, Michael, Ricardo and Peter, who founded Janson Coffee in 1989.
The two coffee plantations are located in the Talamanca mountain range on the slopes of the Tisingal and Barù volcanoes.

In their plantations, the family aims to have a quality production that respects the environment. They do not use pesticides or herbicides by putting enzymatic microorganisms in the soil.
The plantations are managed in batches in order to have better traceability and quality control. The plantations are surrounded by forest in order to serve as natural barriers against diseases and protect fauna and flora.
The farm operates partly on solar energy with 400 solar panels.
